Award for every junior competitor
· Registration at 11:00am
· Clinic begins promptly at noon
· Tournament begins approximately at 1:30pm
· Refreshments available
· Modified IJF rules, no arm locks 16 & under no chokes for ages 13 and under
· 3 min matches
Note: The competition clinic will include techniques for standing and matwork. The clinic will be followed by a grassroots tournament with refereed randori. We will group by age and skill level and keep pairing them up until everyone has at least three matches. Senior competition will follow the junior competition. Seniors will also have the option of newaza only.
The Clinics and Tournament is open to all male and female competitors currently registered with the USJI, USJF, USJA, or Canadian National Organization.
