On Monday one of my students and myself had a chance to train at Kime Karate located in Fairport, NY. We did not plan on training there initially.
Our original plan was to go to Bushido Kai Judo Club in Penfield to train Judo. Due to an over booking at the community centre the Judo Program was cancel that night. Matt and I drove pass the Karate Dojo on the way back from the Judo Club and we decide to see what kind of Karate Club it was. Since we were itching to train, we didn’t mind paying a mat fee, etc
To our surprise Aric Keyes [singlepic id=1 w=320 h=240 float=]the head instructor/co-owner warmly greet us, and allowed us to use his facilities. He even join in our training session. Since I only had one hours of sleep that day I allowed my student Matt to rolled and sparred with Aric.
Is not very often I find martial artist with the same kindle, passionate, and community spirit. If you lived around the Fairport please check out Kime Karate , you won’t regret it.
